The former family residence of factory director Siegmund Seligmann is a rare testimony to upper-class Jewry at the beginning of the 20th century and up until the Shoah. High-ranking guests and business partners were received in the lavishly furnished historicist villa. Today, Villa Seligmann is a place of living Jewish culture.
At the Night of the Museums visitors have the rare opportunity to admire the architecture and interior of the building as well as its works of art. The rich evening program offers insights into the history of the house and family, but also into the process of the elaborate restoration in guided tours with experts. Jewish music will also be performed.
This year’s special highlight will be the exhibition “Rubinstein as a guest at Seligmann”, which will be on display at Villa Seligmann until mid-June. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge during the Night of the Museums. There will also be a guided tour of the exhibition.

Unfortunately, Villa Seligmann is not barrier-free.
The capacity of the listed building is limited. Therefore, please be prepared for waiting times at the entrance, which you can enjoy in the garden of Villa Seligmann with drinks and spontaneous encounters.
