With the program “Bridges”, Lucja Madziar fulfills her long-cherished dream of performing an extraordinary concert program for the Hanoverian audience in the Villa Seligmann all by herself, without the accompaniment of other instruments. On the one hand, the often-performed standard works of the violin literature can be heard, as well as one sonata each by J.S. Bach and Eugène Ysaÿe. They form a framework around lesser-known pieces for solo violin – by Lera Auerbach, Grażyna Bacewicz and Erwin Schulhoff.
In this way, bridges are built between different styles, old and new music and composers. Just like in real life, you experience the unknown, the familiar, tensions, similarities and differences in the course of a musical evening.
