Sharon Kam has been one of the world’s leading clarinettists for over 20 years and works with the most important orchestras in the USA, Europe and Japan. From the very beginning of her career, Mozart’s masterpieces for the clarinet have been an essential part of Sharon Kam’s artistic work: at the age of just 16, she played Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in her orchestral debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Her commitment to contemporary music is reflected in numerous world premieres. She has twice been awarded the ECHO Klassik as “Instrumentalist of the Year”. Sharon Kam has been a professor of clarinet at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media since 2022. Sharon Kam is a Buffet Crampon Artist and plays the model R13.
Yael Kareth is Professor of Transcultural Music Education and Music Pedagogy at the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin. Before moving to Berlin, she was head of the music department at the Israeli Opera, where she also worked as a répétiteur, musical director, lecturer and content writer. She is a founding member of the Israeli Chamber Project, a chamber music ensemble with which she regularly performed and taught in Israel. Yael specializes in performance concerts, creating cross-cultural connections between different artistic media, and has extensive experience in communicating classical music content through written and digital media.
The Israeli soprano Chen Reiss rose to fame as a member of the Bavarian State Opera ensemble and as a resident artist at the Vienna State Opera. Highlights of the 2025/26 season include her debut as the second soprano in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with Tarmo Peltokoski, Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Peltokoski. Symphony with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel, including a tour of Asia, Carmina Burana with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with the Orchestre de Paris under Klaus Mäkelä, Brahms’ Deutsches Requiem with the London Symphony Orchestra under Manfred Honeck and Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony with the Hallé and Hong Kong Philharmonic. In addition, Chen will be Artist in Residence with the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla in the 2025/26 season. Her repertoire ranges from concert arias by Mozart and Beethoven to orchestral songs by Strauss, Schreker and Korngold.
