In our SPURENSUCHE series, we guide you through the magnificent Villa Seligmann in the heart of Hanover. Since its reopening in 2012, Villa Seligmann has become a beacon of Jewish music and culture. It offers an international forum for people to meet, regardless of their origin, religion or cultural background. Renowned experts will give presentations on various topics and allow you to take a look into the past and behind the scenes. The historical building and, of course, the history of the Seligmann family take center stage.

In the third part of the event series, Dr. Birte Rogacki-Thiemann (Lower Saxony State Office for the Preservation of Monuments) will guide us through Villa Seligmann. She will talk about the house from a historical and conservation perspective, with a special focus on the owner Siegmund Seligmann and the villa’s architect, Hermann Schaedtler.
