Every year, a window to the light of eternity opens in the dark season: the Jewish festival of lights, Hanukkah, is here! At the turning point of winter, it’s time to bring the old stories to life, sing cheerful songs and celebrate family happiness with games and sweet food. Hanukkah is eight days of activities, joy, light and music!
On the evening of the sixth day of the festival, we gather to light the candles and listen to a special concert of Jewish music performed by Albert Mamriev (piano), Regina Chernychko (piano), and Eliah Sakakushev-von Bismarck (cello). In commemoration of the miracle of the oil 2,188 years ago, there will be fresh sufganiyot (doughnuts) for everyone.
We are looking forward to an event in cooperation with the Jewish Education Center Chabad Lubavitch Lower Saxony, to which everyone is cordially invited.
