Every year, a window to the light of eternity opens in the dark season: the Jewish festival of lights, Hanukkah, is here! At the turning point of winter, it’s time to bring the old stories to life, sing cheerful songs and celebrate family happiness with games and sweet food. Hanukkah is eight days of activities, joy, light and music!
On the eve of the fourth day of the festival, December 17, we will gather at 6 pm to light the candles and listen to a special concert of Jewish music played by pianist Albert Mamriev and cellist Eliah Sakakushev-von Bismarck.
It’s worth taking part: in memory of the oil miracle 2188 years ago, there will be fresh sufganiyot (doughnuts) for everyone. The winners of the Hanukkah quiz receive small gifts.
We are looking forward to an event in cooperation with the Jewish Education Center Chabad Lubavitch Lower Saxony, to which all interested and enthusiastic people, joy and warmth seekers are cordially invited.
Registrations are required at anmeldung@villa-seligmann.de or via our webshop while space is limited.
