Villa Seligmann commemorates the victims of National Socialism with a musical reading on the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. As part of the event “Wie Nebelschwaden im Wind”, Corinna Luedtke will perform her own texts, which will be heard for the first time in this form on the premiere evening. The author is known for her projects and exhibitions in the field of remembrance culture. On this evening, the audience will experience the “lyrical side” of the artist: her pictorial poems bring the suffering of the victims of war and violence into the consciousness of the present.

Eliah Sakakushev-von Bismarck will perform the musical part of the reading on the cello. He fills the spaces between the texts meditatively with Jewish melodies. The poetic language and the musical language thus form a touching symbiosis of poetry and music.

The writer and project artist Corinna Luedtke is committed to the dignified remembrance of the victims of war and violence. She designs projects, creative workshops and exhibitions on this topic. The link between the past and the present is intended to help young people in particular to take responsibility for a better future. Corinna Luedtke’s projects promote intercultural tolerance and democratic competence, and not just among young people. The project conceptionist has received several awards for her work, including from the state of Lower Saxony. Corinna Luedtke is a member of the Association of German Writers (VS).
