The German-Israeli Society Hannover once again invites you to the traditional Israel Day on Sunday, June 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the garden of Villa Seligmann. The festival is aimed at all interested citizens who want to gain an insight into Middle Eastern cultures and, of course, Jewish life in Hanover.
A varied stage program will be performed on the garden stage. Highlights include a performance by the famous Jewish-Kurdish singer Hadassa Yeshurun from Jerusalem and the children’s dance group Magonanim.
As every year, Hanover’s Jewish communities come together and present themselves in terms of content, tradition and culinary delights at Israel Day. The Hanover Jewish Library, Christian groups and friends from the Middle East will also be represented with information stands.
Israel Day also includes delicious Israeli food, homemade cakes and waffles, coffee and tea as well as kosher wine.
The DIG Hannover and Villa Seligmann are looking forward to welcoming many visitors to this festival of diversity! Questions about the program and registration: hannover@digev.de
Admission is free of charge. Registration is not required.
Admission to the garden takes place after a security check.
