Get to know Sukkot – everyone is there! Dear friends, children, parents and grandparents, on Sunday, October 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., we will be celebrating the fourth Sukkot Day together in the newly built leaf hut* in the garden of Villa Seligmann!
As every year during the Jewish festivals, we invite you to a relaxed and educational program free of charge for all ages and generations.
As always, music plays a major role in our program.
This time we have the young cantor from Israel Menachem Guenoun as our guest.
Together with him, we will explore the symbols and customs of Sukkot and place them musically in the Jewish tradition.
No previous knowledge is required to attend this event.
We take our guests on a playful and intuitive journey of discovery, which we organize with presentations, stories and situational conversations.
Refreshments and craft activities are provided for the youngest members of the audience.
In the event of bad weather, the visit will be shortened or canceled and the event will take place in the rooms of Villa Seligmann.
We recommend considering weatherproof clothing and shoes.
The event will be moderated by Villa Seligmann director Eliah Sakakushev-von Bismarck and organized by education officer Ilona Altschuler Amiel.
