Villa Seligmann is part of the German Protestant Church Convention Hanover 2025.
1,500 events at over 60 locations in Hanover. Over 3,000 brass players, 1,200 singers, over 500 initiatives in the Market of Opportunities at the trade fair and 650 guests from Germany and abroad. The German Protestant Church Congress presented its program for the event from 30 April to 4 May 2025 in Hanover today at a press conference in the House of Religions there. The aim is to attract up to 100,000 people to the Kirchentag. For five days, the host city of Lower Saxony will be home to the unique melting pot of social dialog, questions of faith and cultural highlights that characterize church congresses. In addition to thousands of socially committed people, federal ministers, heads of business associations and companies, activists, church leaders, representatives of social organizations and well-known names from science, culture and the Internet will also be taking part. In view of the date of the event around the expected formation of a new federal government, one focus will be on the joint search for a stable democratic basis. All information about the Kirchentag and the program can be found on the official Kirchentag website.
