The poster exhibition at MiQua Cologne creates opportunities to learn and tell stories, also to counteract prejudices that promote anti-Semitism and distance. 16 roll-ups focus on significant low and high points in 1700 years of German-Jewish history. QR codes are also attached to the roll-ups, which link to various online offers from MiQua. <\/p>\n

The poster exhibition and its contents are an ideal starting point for schools, but also for a general, interested public to learn more about the history and present of Jews in Germany.[\/vc_column_text]

Im Jahr 321 erlie\u00df Kaiser Konstantin ein Edikt, das auch Juden zur \u00dcbernahme von \u00c4mtern im Stadtrat K\u00f6ln verpflichtete. Dies gilt heute als fr\u00fchester Hinweis f\u00fcr die Existenz j\u00fcdischen Lebens n\u00f6rdlich der Alpen. In 2021 feierten wir deshalb bundesweit 1700 Jahre j\u00fcdisches Leben<\/strong> in deutschen Landen.<\/p>\n

Dieses Festjahr hat das MiQua. LVR-J\u00fcdisches Museum im Arch\u00e4ologischen Quartier K\u00f6ln zum Anlass genommen, mit einer Posterausstellung<\/strong> den Spuren j\u00fcdischen Lebens in Deutschland nachzugehen und sie vielf\u00e4ltig zu beleuchten.<\/p>\n

Die Ausstellung schafft Angebote zum (Kennen-) Lernen und Erz\u00e4hlen<\/strong>, auch um antisemitismus-und distanzf\u00f6rdernden Vorurteilen entgegen-zuwirken. 16 Roll-ups thematisieren markante Tief- und H\u00f6hepunkte der 1700 Jahre w\u00e4hrenden deutsch-j\u00fcdischen Geschichte. Auf den Roll-ups sind zudem QR-Codes<\/strong> angebracht, die auf verschiedene Online-Angebote des MiQua weiterleiten.<\/p>\n

Die Posterausstellung und ihr Inhalt sind ein idealer Startpunkt f\u00fcr Schulen, aber auch f\u00fcr ein allgemeines, interessiertes Publikum, um mehr \u00fcber die Geschichte und Gegenwart der Juden*J\u00fcdinnen in Deutschland zu erfahren<\/strong>. Oft von biografischen Erz\u00e4hlungen ausgehend wird die Perspektive auf ganz Deutschland ausgeweitet. Der Fokus liegt auf der Alltagsgeschichte; Meilensteine in Geschichte und Politik werden mit ihren Konsequenzen durch die Erz\u00e4hlung konkreter Personen verdeutlicht.<\/p>\n

\u00dcber die QR-Codes in der Posterausstellung kann ein virtueller Rundgang<\/strong> durch die ausf\u00fchrlichere Ausstellung die Posterausstellung vertiefen. Dadurch bieten sich auch zahlreiche weitere didaktische M\u00f6glichkeiten.<\/p>\n

Die Ausstellung kann in der Gruppe begangen oder von den Teilnehmenden einzeln erkundet werden. Nachfolgend bieten wir Ihnen einige Ideen, wie Sie Ihre Gruppe zur selbst\u00e4ndigen Arbeit mit den Roll-ups anleiten k\u00f6nnen. Angesetzt werden 60 Minuten zur Arbeit mit der Posterausstellung, wobei es sich bei interessierten und diskussionsfreudigen Klassen empfiehlt, 80 Minuten einzuplanen. Keinesfalls sollte auf die Abschlussphase verzichtet werden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Es sind grunds\u00e4tzlich zwei Varianten m\u00f6glich:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Variante 1 <\/b>Bei dieser Variante wird nur mit der Posterausstellung gearbeitet, ohne Zugang zu den multi-medialen Inhalten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Variante 2 <\/b>Bei der zweiten Variante wird mit Posterausstellung und multimedialen Inhalten gearbeitet, die in QR-Codes auf den Plakaten enthalten sind. Nutzen Sie dazu bitte mitzubringende private oder schulische Endger\u00e4te.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is a production of the Hanoverian historian Dr. Peter Schulze. It shows plans and pictures of the New Synagogue, documents the building designs by the architect Edwin Oppler, the interior design and the exterior exposure as well as the positive response from the public and commemorates the destruction by the National Socialists on November 9, 1938.[\/vc_column_text]

\u201eMa towu \u2013 Wie gut sind deine Zelte, Jakob\u201c \u2013 mit einem Gebet beginnt die feierliche Einweihung der Neuen Synagoge in Hannover am 15. September 1870. Die j\u00fcdische Gemeinde \u00fcbernimmt ihr neues Bethaus in der stolzen \u00dcberzeugung, \u201edass wir jetzt eine der sch\u00f6nsten Synagogen Deutschlands besitzen.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Geschichte der Neuen Synagoge ist auf vielf\u00e4ltige Weise mit dem Leben und Schicksal der Juden verkn\u00fcpft. Mehrere Generationen versammeln sich hier zum Gebet und zur Verk\u00fcndung von Gottes Wort, tragen Freuden und Leiden von der Geburt bis zum Tod hierher. In der Synagoge wirken die Rabbiner Samuel Ephraim Meyer, Selig Gronemann, Samuel Freund und Emil Schorsch sowie die Kantoren Heinrich Berggr\u00fcn, Adolf Lazarus, Gerson Linhardt und Israel Alter.<\/p>\n

Die Ausstellung ist eine Produktion des hannoverschen Historikers Dr. Peter Schulze. Sie zeigt Pl\u00e4ne und Bilder der Neuen Synagoge, dokumentiert die Bauentw\u00fcrfe des Architekten Edwin Oppler, die Gestaltung im Innern und die Freistellung nach au\u00dfen sowie die positive Resonanz in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit und erinnert an die Zerst\u00f6rung durch die Nationalsozialisten am 9. November 1938.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr den 34-j\u00e4hrigen Akiva Roszkowski begann alles w\u00e4hrend der Coronazeit, als er sich aus purer Neugier Kalligrafie-Stifte anschaffte und die hebr\u00e4ischen Buchstaben nachzeichnete. Was als einfache \u00dcbung begann, wurde schnell zu einer tiefen Faszination und schlie\u00dflich zu seiner Berufung.<\/p>\n

Heute steht der geb\u00fcrtige Niedersachse kurz vor dem Abschluss seiner Ausbildung zum Sofer Stam<\/i> (Toraschreiber) am Rabbinerseminar \u201eOr Jonathan\u201c in Hamburg. Eine Torarolle zu schreiben bedeutet ihm weit mehr, als nur Buchstaben fehlerfrei zu kopieren. Jeder einzelne Strich folgt einer jahrtausendealten Tradition, in der selbst kleinste Nuancen eine gro\u00dfe Bedeutung haben. Die Form der Buchstaben, das Pergament, die Tinte \u2013 alles hat seine eigenen Gesetze. Doch seine Arbeit geht \u00fcber das Schreiben heiliger Texte hinaus. Die hebr\u00e4ische Kalligrafie ist f\u00fcr ihn eine hohe Kunstform, die Geschichte, Spiritualit\u00e4t und Handwerk verbindet. Damit schreibt er mit jedem Buchstaben in das Leben einer Jahrtausende alten \u00a0Tradition weiter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
